"In my daily work at the Tallinn City Environment and Public Works Department, I have access to a wide range of software tools. For BIM coordination, I most often use BIMcollab ZOOM, primarily for its simplicity and reliability.
In infrastructure projects, terrain models and laser scan files are frequently used, so viewing them is not an issue. It’s important to know how to correctly export the proper IFC versions from design software. For location checks, I download LAZ-format point clouds from Maa-amet (Estonian Land Board), then convert them to .e57 format in ReCap and link the points to IFC models."
